Has to be rikku, shes the most usefull, the quickest and the funniest, shes my favorite character because of her mixing abillities and the fact she can terminate any mechanical enemy, instantly, if you know how to use her Rikku can be your most powerfull character.

I usually go for a combonation of auto/status/weakness abillities like body temp, antibody, clear headed, jelly, haste, regen, possibilly life, bird killer and mp attack.
Also strong battle abillities like climhazzard, theivery and dragons crest.

Another idea is to equip zidane with shadow/holy absorbing equipment before you fight kuja and then let him gat attacked, kuja will systematically cast flare and flare star alot during the battle but with the equipment zidane should be absorbing kujas attacks but still building up his trance gauge, then unleash his lowest level trances for a guranteed 9999 on necron, depending on whether zidanes level is the same as the others it shouldnt be a problem.

Ok gotta question I have played FF9 several time and have only ever beaten necron once (dont know how tho) and have NEVER been able to do it again, so i need as many tips as possible like what sorta level i need to be at, the best team to have, what kinda abilitys i need to have set up, cos im sooo close to crying, cos i cant do it

Sorry this might be long winded but i have a gripe i want to share and see if anyone thinks im overreacting?

I was commenting on a vid on YT, "Top 5 Video Game Bosses".

I saw that at the top of the list was Seph, now i dont have a problem with it an i felt like expressing my opinion so i said that, and i quote,
"Personally ida said that bison would be number 1 followed by shang tsung, psycho mantis, bowser then Sephiroth"
The reason being that in the video kidicar said that Sephiroth was 'the most interesting boss in final fantasy' and 'the most bad ass of all time'.
Really?
So He commented back saying
"1. Thats my opinion 2. Sephiroth is not only strong but F***ing cool 3. In KH, he's legit"

I commented back saying
"I respect your opinion, not trying to bash this vid, you or your friends.
KH isnt final fantasy, in FF sephiroth is a joke of a boss compared to other final bosses.
Sephiroth is cool by default because fan boys bastardised FF 7, thats my opinion.

Even in KH he is still a joke, ive seen people smash him in 2 minuites and less in life and in videos, i just think that this whole FF7 hype and memory is getting out of hand all the elements that made it, all the story, the characters (sniff aerith), its perfect for a video game and like i said a story but sephiroth is portrayed as an invincible god that is omnipotent and immortal and its just not the case, it annoys me so much that people still view him in such a way, i have seen the film, the videos and have played one or two spin offs, DC for example, crisis core looks interesting enough but thats besides the point.
How is a guy that has a seven foot sword, wears full leather and crys about his mother cool i ask you?

The only bad things i can say about this game are...
The card battles, i love them but they get too intense too quickly.
The GFs, I personally only ever use Eden because it can break the damage cap easily.
Omega weapon, people that think this incarnation of omega is difficult should go back, play FF V and try and beat it straight (no tricks).

I'm going to agree with translaka, Gunblades are stupid, but missinterperated.
The rounds in the trigger end, when fired, cause the blade to shake increasing the vibration and therefore causing more damage, not like but similar to the HF blade, where the frequency of the blade is hightend to cause a vibration that affects the molecular structure of the target, or something like that.
The lionheart stumps me though, its an assault rifle trigger with a huge blade, in real terms surely if you where using the the trigger on it and it 'rapid fired', it would cause youre hands to shake uncontrolably and then you would lose your grip.
Good concept, great in game action, but explainable, somewhat,
but its final fantasy so...

well im fortunate that i own both ps3 and an xbox, but its only being released on the PS3 though?
I wasnt even considering it after i played XII, but now im possibly interested, I hope its more like IX than X-2.

Think its a good topic to get people posting, so here it goes.

If you could be any esper/summon/GF/eidolon, wich would you hbe and why?

I'd be the, 'The Esper God' and king of the dragons Bahamut, looking down on all, it is just my favorite monster, its the power, the speed and the ferocity, plus i think he is the most powerfull esper of all time bar none and possibly the best looking too.
